Frequently Asked Questions

What industries have you worked in?

You might be better asking what indstries haven't I worked in lol. Weddings and Events, Photography, Health and Beauty, Nutrition and Fitness, Business Services, Not-For-Profit, Property.
I’ve written about anything from what type of confetti you should use at your intimate elopement, to the effects of wearing a mask on Acne. Both of which are things that I’d never been too well versed on prior to making this my main gig.
And if I haven't worked in your specific industry before, the great thing about my process is I always make sure to get right into the nitty gritty, the technicalities and jargon, to make sure I can communicate clearly and proficiently.

How long Will You take to help me out?

This is a good one! I’d like to say it depends on what else I have going on, and the scope of the project. A typical full-scale website copy project is around 4 weeks.  That said, I’ll do my best to work with you to hit any deadlines you may have!

Do you have a specific writing style?

No. But YES. My writing style is whatever your business needs to convey its unique message and voice! At the end of the day, copywriting is about putting yourself in the shoes of both the business and the target audience – my shoes (and style) are stowed away neatly, ready for when I write my own content.

Why did you choose to become a copywriter?

I reckon it’d be more fitting to say that copywriting chose me. I’d always been a confident writer, all through school and university – and more importantly, I’d always been excellent at talking rubbish. So, when the opportunity came to combine the 2, through a friend that needed help with captions for their SM Management biz, I jumped at it. It went well, I decided to go at it on my own and now, Bob’s your Uncle, here we are 4+ years later.

Where are you based?

I'm currently based in Melbourne, Australia. Fun fact though, TWG was born on the Gold Coast – where I lived with my partner for almost 18 months.
